"For our final film of the year we present this short documentary about jazz drummer and composer Sun-Mi Hong. This intimate film follows Sun-Mi as she returns to South Korea for her first performance in years, presenting her new album "Meaning of a Nest". What begins as a musical homecoming gradually unfolds into a confrontation with her past. The film blends her musical expression with personal memory, exploring her complicated relationship with her family and her life in South Korea, while navigating the delicate balancing act of living between two different worlds. Through concert footage and intimate family moments, the film unpacks how music has become her way of reckoning with the past and finding strength in vulnerability.

After the film Sun-Mi Hong will do a short live performance and a Q&A."
