Which feelings do we find bottled in this mix?
Happiness, joy and energy.
What message does the music you play convey?
That people can immerse themselves in the flow and energy that music brings, and express whatever they are feeling.
How is the mix reflecting your current music taste?
I would describe my taste as soulful and energetic. A sound and feeling that is present in lots of tracks from mainly the 70's, 80's and 90's. Way before I was born! That is what I like the most about Disco, Funk, Soul and Afro.
Who should release a new album/EP already?
George Michael, Prince, Darryl Payne, Yazoo, Taylor Dayne, and many more.
What's magical about music?
Music enables people to truly connect with each other. It makes people forget about time and space as they are present in the moment and enjoying themselves.
What is your main source for finding new music?
On Spotify, I use the Discover Weekly and Release Radar playlists. Additionally, I use the “related artists” function a lot.
If the mix would be a soundtrack, what (kind of) movie/video/audio-visual content would support it best?
Two people that are madly in love wandering through a green park in a city on a beautiful spring day.
